Nos 10, 27, and 45 buses stop outside the Kilted Pig pub on Colinton Road. Alight there and walk uphill to the bridge (on right) across the Union Canal. Cross bridge, turn left, go down hill and turn left into boathouse area.

By car or bike, get yourself to Colinton Road. Coming from town, pass the Kilted Pig and turn right over the bridge across the canal. Coming from out of town, go downhill along Colinton Road and turn left (across the bridge over the canal) just after Tesco (on left).
